To diagnose issues with syncing to Smartlead, you should navigate to the “Videos” tab of your Pitchlane campaign, and under Filters, select “Integration Errors”
Here you will be able to see the videos that have failed to sync.
Click on a video and in the side panel, you should see a section like this, showing the issue with syncing this lead.
“Missing required variable” errors
Our integration analyses your campaign copy and checks for any {{variables}} used in it - if you have not provided a value for these, Pitchlane will not sync the lead, in order to prevent you sending out an email with missing placeholders.
To resolve the issue:
Double-check the configuration of Standard Variables and Custom Variables in the Smartlead Integration settings.
Check the data associated with that particular video/lead and ensure the field is specified.
