Sometimes a CSV just doesn’t play nice.
This usually happens when the file is saved in a format we don’t support—often from older spreadsheet tools or exports that don’t follow standard formatting.
What to Do
A quick fix that usually works:
Open your CSV in Google Sheets.
Go to File → Download → Comma-separated values (.csv, current sheet).
Upload the new file to Pitchlane.
That’s it. This tends to smooth things out.
Why This Happens
There are many ways to save a CSV, and not all of them follow the same rules. We do our best to handle variations, but sometimes the structure is just too off.
