So does that mean you can put any URL and you'll get a video of you talking over that website?
Almost! 99% of websites work with Pitchlane but there are some edge cases where you might get not get your intended outcome on screen.
When you provide Pitchlane with a list of URLs to go to, our bots will navigate to those links and start recording. The Pitchlane video will show on screen exactly what the bot sees, which 99% of the time works perfectly.
Some websites might block bots from going to their website multiple times.
Usually, these will be websites that offer a free bit of work that they charge for people to use at scale e.g. SEMRush or ChatGPT.

If we visit their website multiple times, they block that as you are essentially getting a paid feature for free.
Other websites like Facebook Ads Library will block bots because they don't want their data being scraped.
Websites like Facebook or Instagram that require a log in to use will work but there will be a pop up on screen asking you to log in, which won't look natural.
If the website doesn't load, it won't record. So for example if the website returns a 404 Error that won't work.
